Dental Care for Seniors

Focusing on the Needs of Our Seniors

Different age groups have specific problems that we watch for. With seniors, we carefully check fillings to see that they are not loose or that decay has set in under or around them. We look for any fractures or chips in teeth to also repair before decay sets in. Seniors may be taking medications that create a dry mouth, and we can remedy the problem with basic products we provide. Teeth may no longer look attractive due to staining and discoloration from tobacco and caffeine consumption. We can whiten and brighten teeth to their original luster again.
The most serious and often common problem with seniors is gum disease or root decay. If ever you experience bleeding gums or loose teeth, please contact us immediately. We continue to emphasize the importance of proper cleaning of teeth and gums every day, and consuming more nutritious meals and snacks.
